Introduction to Clearwater

Clearwater Florida is located west of Tampa and northwest of St. Petersburg.  It is a popular vacation destination, particular in the winter when the snowbirds migrate south from Canada and northern USA.

The city of Clearwater has a population of just over 100,000 people, making it the smallest of the three main Tampa Bay cities.

Clearwater Beach, Florida

Clearwater Beach is located on a barrier island west of the Intracoastal Waterway.  It is home to a residential area and many beach hotels.

The white sand beach is considered to be one of the best in Florida.
