Henry B. Plant Museum

The Henry B. Plant Museum is situated on what once was the elegant Tampa Bay Hotel, which was built in 1891 at a cost of some $3 million.

The museum contains fine Wedgewood china, Venetian mirrors and French furniture dating back to the 18th century.  It occupies the first story of a beautiful building that is part of the University of Tampa.

The Henry B. Plant Museum is located on the west side of the Hillsborough River in Plant Park.  It is directly across the river from the distinctive round Rivergate Tower.
